FEBRUARY
1st - 28th February: The St Peter Port Sketch Club Exhibition
In 2025, the St Peter Port Sketch Club visited over twenty locations around the town to draw the buildings, streets and squares of St. Peter Port.
With a record number of participants ranging in age from 7 to 70 years old, the exhibition features hundreds of drawings and paintings in a vast variety of styles and techniques. Often drawn quite rapidly, the sketch is a spontaneous response to the location and a captivating record of St Peter Port.
Come visit the exhibition at the George Crossan Gallery in Market Square.
4th February: The Fanny Davies International Piano Series presents: Jeneba Kanneh-Mason
Join Jeneba Kanneh-Mason, one of the UK’s most exciting young pianists, for an evening of radiant and imaginative piano music. A BBC Young Musician finalist and now an exclusive Sony Classical Artist, Jeneba has captivated audiences with her expressive and compelling performances and interpretations.
Her programme opens with Bach’s Partita No. 5 and Beethoven’s “Tempest” Sonata, before exploring the lyrical and evocative sound-worlds of William Grant Still, Debussy, and Florence Price, concluding with Chopin’s 3rd and 4th Ballades.
6th February: Jackson Mathod
Jackson Mathod is a multi-instrumentalist and singer. Drawing on influences from the likes of Miles Davis, Roy Hargrove and Christian Scott to name a few.
Jackson studied Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama back in 2009. However, never feeling fully embedded in the Jazz world, he quickly went onto the session musician circuit, playing for high-profile artists such as Stormzy and Jordan Rakei.
He then went on to collaborate with various musicians and producers, creating a vast catalogue of music for someone his age.

7th February: Battle of the School Bands
Battle of the School Bands is 10 years old - come and mark this milestone at this year’s event!
Bands from each of Guernsey's senior schools will compete in front of a panel of judges for a prize of £1000, as well as £500 for their school. Kindly sponsored by BWCI Guernsey.

7th February: Swallow Sings Opera: Duke Bluebeard’s Castle by Béla Bartók
St. James is excited to present its new series of Opera, in partnership with The London Singers Collective and proudly sponsored by The Swallow Charitable Trust.
The series will delve deep into each opera, with an evening of conversation followed by a full opera presented as a chamber music performance.
The evening includes a talk by Jessica Duchen in the first half, followed by the chamber music performance of Duke Bluebeard’s Castle by Julian Debreuil (bass-baritone), Catherine Backhouse (mezzo soprano) and William Vann (Piano), all members of the London Singers’ Collective.
14th & 15th February: K-Pop Forever!
Featuring live performances of smash-hits including: Blackpink, BTS, Twice, Soda Pop, Golden and many more, this is the ultimate non-stop party!
With exciting choreography, plus songs inspired by the record-breaking film K-Pop Demon Hunters, this production is one not to be missed.
14th, 15th, 21st & 22nd February: Six Nations Rugby at the Mermaid Tavern

14th - 22nd February: Half-term Activities at the Mermaid Tavern
Come and have some fun at the Mermaid Tavern this February half-term!
From face-painting and Giant Jenga, to a Sunday roast, treasure trail and family-friendly movie, there's plenty for everyone to enjoy.
Ask at the bar for a selection of board games and colouring books. The rugby Six Nations will also be screened on match days!
19th February: Comedy at St James: Zoe Lyons, Esther Manito and Keith Farnan

20th & 21st February: 2026 Guernsey Rally
The 2026 Guernsey Rally is a two-day closed-road stage rally, attracting competitors and fans from across the Channel Islands and beyond.
Spectators can line safe viewing areas to watch rally cars tackle Guernsey’s twisting lanes, then enjoy relaxed evenings in St Peter Port’s bars and restaurants.
21st February: Soul & Motown Night
Back by popular demand, come and dance the night away at the third Soul & Motown Night, featuring all the hits and classics from favourite artists, including Stevie Wonder, Sister Sledge, The Weather Girls, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Jackson 5, Queen and many more.

27th February - 1st March: Therapeutic Yoga Retreat at La Fregate Hotel with Yoga Elements
Explore therapeutic movement to invite freedom and spaciousness in the body, and sink into restorative practices that deepen the feeling of coming home. There will be a themed workshop where you will learn practical, take‑home skills, and chef‑prepared meals will be provided throughout.
No previous experience is required, and all classes are optional, so you can enjoy as much or as little as you please.

5th March: Swallow Recitals: Trio Bohémo
Trio Bohémo features Jan Vojtek (piano), Matouš Pěruška (violin), and Kristina Vocetková (cello).
The Trio has performed at leading international venues, including Wigmore Hall, Stoller Hall, and the Rudolfinum, and appeared at major festivals such as Prague Spring, Aldeburgh, and Festival van Vlaanderen Gent. Their recent tours have taken them across the United States and Australia, further solidifying their reputation.
This March, the Trio will be St James, performing a programme of Smetana, Dvořák and Schoenfield.

11th March: Little by Little The Bird Builds its Nest with Jacqui O
Enjoy a floral demonstration, 'Little by Little the Bird Builds its Nest' with Jacqui O.
Jacqui transforms well-loved bird expressions like "As the Crow Flies" into vibrant stories of colour, texture and form, blending creativity, technique and storytelling.
Tickets are sold at the door for £17.00.
The event will also host a raffle to win floral arrangements.
13th March: Spooktacular Tour of St Peter Port
On Friday 13th March, join local guide Soo Wellfair on a spook-tacular evening walking tour.
Hear real-life stories of hauntings and learn about the famous witch trials, as well as some of Guernsey's most gruesome tales of punishment, torture and horror.
The tour also includes some of the most popular scientific theories behind hauntings, plus some of Guernsey's quirky superstitions.
20th March: Russell Watson

20th March: Wes Banderson
Wes Banderson perform a selection of the original score music and deep cut needle-drops from the films of Wes Anderson.
The five-piece ensemble navigates the soundtracks of Rushmore, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, Moonrise Kingdom, The Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox and more.
21st March: Seaweed Foraging Tour
Learn everything about the fascinating history of seaweed in Guernsey and its many uses in cosmetics, farming, cooking and the fashion industry.
This is a hands-on learning experience. You will try seaweed moisturiser and have the opportunity to eat multiple types of fresh seaweed straight from the beach.
21st March: Guernsey Symphonic Winds: Vive la France!
Guernsey Symphonic Winds present a fun-packed programme of all things French.
Guernsey has a close relationship to our neighbours in France, with tourists going both ways, the historical link with Normandy, and Guernsey providing a temporary home for Victor Hugo.

28th March: Bloodstock Metal to the Masses CI - Heat 2
Come and watch as local bands battle it out to win a spot at the legendary Bloodstock Festival!
31st March: Art at the Park - Pink Granite, Wildflower
The National Trust of Guernsey’s Art at the Park Gallery in Saumarez Park is delighted to present a new joint exhibition by Bozena Pollock and Sally Cokeley entitled ‘Pink Granite: Wild Flower’.
The exhibition runs from Tuesday 31st March until Friday 1st May, from 10am until 5pm daily.
