The Nao Victoria in St Peter Port

Docked at the Cruise Tenders Pontoon on Albert Pier, the historic vessel will open its decks to the public for a series of self-guided tours. Explore the ship at your own pace and discover the story of one of the most extraordinary voyages in maritime history.

About the Nao Victoria

The original Nao Victoria made history between 1519 and 1522 when, under the command of Juan Sebastián Elcano, it became the first ship to successfully circumnavigate the world. After three years at sea, just 18 crew members returned, having crossed the world's oceans and demonstrated the true scale of the Earth.

Built in Seville in 1992, the replica has followed in the original ship's wake. Between 2004 and 2006, it completed its own circumnavigation, sailing 26,894 nautical miles and visiting 17 countries across five continents.

The Nao Victoria has since attracted visitors at ports throughout Europe and made an appearance at the Jersey Boat Show earlier this year.

Visiting the Nao Victoria

The vessel operates as a floating museum, and the Nao Victoria Foundation will be running self-guided tours on board the flagship at the Cruise Tenders Pontoon on Albert Pier on 7^th, 8^th, 9^th, 10^th, 11^th, 14^th, 15^th, 16^th, 17^th, and 19^th September between 10am and 8pm.
