Seaweed Foraging Tours

Learn everything about the fascinating history of seaweed in Guernsey and its many uses in cosmetics, farming, cooking and the fashion industry. This is a hands on learning experience - we will be using seaweed moisturiser and you will have the opportunity to eat multiple types of fresh seaweed straight from the beach. 

Tour length: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Location: Port Soif (meet in the upper car park above the Kiosk).

Cost: £25 per adult with a minimum of 5 people per group. Children under 15 are free (one per paid adult).

Requirements: Sturdy boots or wellies as we will be clambering through rock pools down to the low tide point. Please bring a small bottle of tap water per person.

Dates: Tours are available on selected Saturdays between Saturday 21 March and Saturday 26 September, or you can book a private tour between March and September (dependent on tides) for a minimum of 5 adults.
