Bird Spotter’s Paradise

Accessible via causeway

Guernsey’s RAMSAR wetland and marine reserve is home to variety of wildlife including 150 species of bird. Perfect for a day trip, the tiny island is a great place for exploration! Visit the ruined priory, trace the coastline in search of wildlife and take a dip in its natural swimming pool.

Getting to Lihou

Like somewhere straight out of a Famous Five adventure, you can only reach Lihou Island at Guernsey’s lowest tides via a causeway. Be sure to check the tide timetables and wear sturdy walking shoes for a trip exploring the Island’s rock pools and wetlands.
