Les Douvres

Nestled in the country lanes of St Martins, Les Douvres is a firm favourite amongst locals.  This cosy pub and hotel - which has a brand new alfresco area for the summer months - has a varied menu including fantastic pizzas, daily specials as well as their popular Roasts.  Be sure to book in advance though...

The Oak Bar at Les Rocquettes

As well as offering a selection of tender meat cuts with classic roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and vegetables, the Oak Bar also provides nut roasts for vegetarians to enjoy, and children’s portions too. Known locally for classic pub food served in a comfortable venue, this is a great fuss free dining option.

Fleur du Jardin

The Fleur’ serves up a whole host of classics in a charming converted farmhouse building. With a focus on locally sourced foods, Fleur du Jardin uses local beef and pork from Meadow Court Farm as the centrepieces of their Sunday roasts.

Le Friquet Hotel

Local produce, dairy and meats are at the heart of the menu at Le Friquet. Their Sunday carvery always proves popular among all ages, while they also offer a Sunday a la carte menu for those fancying something a little different. Enjoy a classic flavour of Guernsey with their bread and butter pudding made with ‘gȃche’ (pronounced ‘gosh’), a rich type of fruit loaf.

The Rockmount

Not only does ‘The Rocky’ provide a tempting selection of roast meats and trimmings for Sunday lunch, it also offers seafood and vegetarian options and a homemade pie too! If you’ve got room for a sweet treat afterwards, their “Rockmount Mess” is a tasty choice, while cheeses, ice creams and sorbets are also on offer.

The Duke of Richmond Hotel

Expect a great classic roast in the stylish surroundings of the Leopard Bar and Restaurant at the Duke of Richmond Hotel. Vegetarian options include tagines and risottos, while a fish pie is available too, along with a luxurious array of desserts if you can manage!
