Welcome to Taj - Guernsey’s Premier Indian Restaurant. We are conveniently located in the heart of St. Peter Port overlooking the Marina. We are a fully licensed Restaurant and also offer a takeaway service. We have been established for over 20 years, recognized locally and nationally for serving the highest standards of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine.

It is the consistency in our food and service that makes us the customers favourite choice for Indian meals in Guernsey. We have won several awards including the National Curry Chef, Channel Islands, and South West regional heats and was National Finalist in the Prestigious competition in 2002 and 2003.

In 2007 the Taj was voted by the customers as the best Indian Restaurant in the Channel Islands and was listed in the top 100 Indian restaurants out of thousands in Great Britain in the British Curry Awards which is the benchmark for excellence in the Industry.

Here at the Taj you can experience some of the more unusual dishes prepared by award winning chefs, as well as the ever popular Curries, Tandoori, and Balti Dishes. All the dishes are created with the finest collection of herbs and spices, which are blended together in the traditional way to produce dishes that have their own distinctive flavour and aroma all served in a relaxed atmosphere in fully air conditioned classical eastern surroundings.
