Fanny Davies International Piano Series: Harry the Piano
Lauded by Classic FM as 'one of the world's great improvisors', Harry's extraordinary talent has taken him worldwide with solo cabaret shows in the Albert Hall London, the Moulin Rouge Paris, Birmingham's Symphony Hall and the Manasterly Palace Cairo amongst dozens of others. He has given private audiences to HM the Queen II at Sandringham and King Charles III at Buckingham Palace and Highgrove as well as headlining at festivals worldwide from Barbados to Adelaide and launching the QM2 on her maiden voyage along with Dame Shirley Bassey.
His ability to play any tune in any style on request has led to over 3 million hits on youtube and appearances with everyone from David Bowie to Rick Astley and Andrea Bocelli to Alfie Boe. He is currently musical director for Alexander Armstrong, running his nine piece band and undertaking all the writing and arrangements for three sell-out UK tours and a huge ITV Christmas special.
The performance will be quasi improvisatory, featuring routines first broadcast on Radios 3 & 4 and will end with the invitation to the audience to request ‘any tune changed into any style!’
