In addition, the museum has a rolling programme of temporary exhibitions each year, for more details of the exhibitions running during your visit please visit the website. There is also the Discovery Room for families with a Cabinet of Curiosities, old-fashioned games to play and the very popular Timewarp that changes theme each year and a public art space run by Guernsey Arts which shows a rolling programme of local art displays.
Browse the gift shop for quality books and original souvenirs. Café Victoria offers light meals and snacks with lovely views over the harbour. Then walk around the restored Victorian Candie Gardens and see the statues of Victor Hugo and Queen Victoria. Free band concerts are held every Sunday afternoon at 15.00, May-September, for their schedule check their website.
