Bordeaux Harbour
Bordeaux Harbour is a small, picturesque harbour with fishing boats scattered along the shore. It was previously used for ships loading stone from the nearby Bordeaux quarry - concrete structures on the north edge of the bay indicate where machinery linked to the quarry were located.
Now more commonly used as a beach, the bay is ideal for snorkelling. Despite this, swimming outside of the harbour entrance is not recommended due to the strong currents. It is also a popular beach among dog walkers, as there are no restrictions on taking your pooch onto the beach during the summer, unlike some beaches. Toilets and refreshments are available just off the beach at Woodies.
