Le Grand Dixcart Bed & Breakfast

Le Grand Dixcart is an original Sark farmhouse, lovingly converted into a cosy bed and breakfast.

Set in extensive, beautiful, sheltered gardens with its own indoor pool, Le Grand Dixcart offers quality B&B next door to Stocks Hotel, where guests can avail themselves of all the adjacent facilities.

Rooms are accessed by a central staircase - please note there is no lift access.

Features and facilities

• 6 double rooms (sleeping 14 in total), 5 with super king double or twin beds, and one with a standard double bed.
• All rooms have en suite shower rooms, free Wi-Fi, TVs with Free Sat, and tea and coffee making facilities.
• Large guest lounge with log burning stove and plenty of games
• Several outdoor seating areas and garden games.

A delicious farmhouse breakfast

Breakfast is served en famille in the kitchen on the farmhouse table.

Guests can choose from a selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad, croissants, toast, tea, coffee, fruit juice and homemade jams, and a traditional cooked farmhouse breakfast featuring the site's own eggs and homegrown tomatoes. Breakfast is ordered the night before, ensuring a relaxed start to your day.

Make the most of your stay

• Relax with a glass of complimentary Sark-made sloe gin, port, or brandy, exclusively for guests, in the Private Guest Lounge.
• Stroll through the beautiful permaculture gardens, vegetable garden, cedar greenhouse, apple orchard, chicken pen, and bee hives. Guided garden tours are available upon request (additional cost).
• Experience Sark’s traditional mode of transport with a scenic carriage ride (available upon request for an additional cost).
