It is a perfect place for those who are choosing a holiday to unwind and recharge those batteries, and is an ideal retreat for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers alike.
The hotel is ideally located in the parish of Forest, close to the stunning south coast cliff paths. The sandy bay of Petit Bot is just a 10 minute, picturesque ramble down. Worthwhile local attractions within walking distance include the Little Chapel and German Occupation Museum. We are on the circular bus route with the main town just 12 minutes away.
We moved to our adopted island home of Guernsey and this hotel from the Netherlands in 2004, and are truly thankful to live on such a wonderful island.
Le Chêne can accommodate up to 52 guests in 26 bedrooms. We offer a variety of 3 star room types, such as single, superior and family rooms. Some of these rooms are pet friendly.
All bedrooms are en-suite and include high speed, free WIFI. There is also a cosy cellar bar, seasonal heated pool and the hotel offers mature gardens with comfy sun loungers.
All guests have their own individual table in our award winning breakfast restaurant. Dinner is served at the nearby Deerhound gastro pub, where Le Chêne guests are entitled to a 15% discount on food (a 3 minute walk away).
