Rousse Headland
Situated on the north western coast of Guernsey, Rousse headland is home to a Napoleonic loop-holed tower and battery in a single fortification, a beach kiosk selling drinks and snacks, a beach, a small harbour, a hotel, and nearby restaurants. Rousse makes for a great walking route for families, especially during the summer.
The start of Le Grand Havre, the rocky cove of Rousse is a great place for swimming. With boats bobbing in the water and a shallow slope, all ages will enjoy swimming from here.
Rousse Kiosk is open from 10.00am until 17:30pm, 7 days a week rain or shine, head down to Le Grand Havre Bay to test out their fresh Guernsey crab sandwiches, homemade cakes and many more treats.
