Originally a stone built farmhouse, nestled among landscaped gardens, the award-winning Le Friquet is the very definition of a peaceful countryside location. With its outdoor pool, sun lounge and friendly service, not to mention one of the most popular restaurants in Guernsey, you may find yourself reluctant to leave its grounds! However, its location at the heart of the island make it a great base to explore. Guernsey’s bus service is very good and there’s a stop very nearby, or if you feel like a stroll, it’s around a 40 minute walk to the charming town of St Peter Port, with its cobbled streets, restaurants, shops and museums. Le Friquet is also an excellent base from which to explore the rest of the island of Guernsey, from beautiful beaches, cliffside walks and country rambles, to historic buildings and museums.
