Fukku

Established in 2022, Fukku started as a Japanese Izakaya - but has now evolved into a restaurant at their beautiful new home in Smith Street.

Japanese cuisine and culture respects its produce and ingredients more than any other - and this attention to detail and simplicity that has made Fukku one of the island's most popular restaurants.

To create their dishes, the team at Fukku carefully source their ingredients from top Japanese merchants, alongside local fresh suppliers, in order to create authentic Japanese cuisine that also heavily features local and UK produce wherever possible.

Their wine list is focused on varietals that pair beautifully with their dishes, offering an introduction to Japan's amazing drinks, from the everyday to the more refined.

Sake is selected with local importers Tokkuri.

In recognition of its quality, Fukku was featured in the 2025 Michelin Guide.
