The Brainstorm is a one-person play, created and performed by professional actor Patrick Dickson, who grew up on the island but now lives in Australia.
The play tells the story of how Hugo might have conceived and written Toilers of the Sea, his great novel and 'love letter' to Guernsey.
Patrick last performed the play in Guernsey in 2019. It being revived this year to celebrate the 160th anniversary of the publication of Toilers of the Sea.
