Hundreds, if not thousands, of islanders have used the premises over the course of 200 years and this weekend is dedicated to commemorating this momentous occasion.
Sion Chapel opened in 1825 and subsequently became known as the Vale Methodist Church before being renamed St Paul’s in 1995.
Saturday 13th September 13.00 – 1500
- Static displays - contemporary and historic.
- Short tours of the site.
- Light refreshments including home made cakes.
Saturday 13th September 15.30 – 16.45
- Concert: featuring Singing from the Heart Community Choir, Saxophonics, State of Harmony Choir.
- There will be an opportunity to view the displays after the concert.
Sunday 14th September 10.30 - 11.30
- Service of Celebration
Come to revisit times past or to explore something new – everyone is welcome!
