St James Dance Festival

A weekend full of dance workshops and socials, a 50s dance party on Saturday night featuring ‘The Class of ’58’ on of the UK’s most popular Rock’nRoll and Doowoop bands, plus a traditional Tea Dance on Sunday to round off the weekend.

The Class of ’58 are a regular at top-tier festivals and events in Europe and the Rest of the World and have completed headline performances at many major festivals including “Chromefest”, NSW Australia, The Summer Jamboree Italy, Bethune Retro France and Rockin’ Doowop Gran Canaria among many others, and have recently completed a four-date Arena Tour as guests of popular main-stream German artists, “The Firebirds”.

The dance workshops include Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, Lindy Hop and Rock’n’Roll, and are free of charge. So you can enjoy a full weekend of dance for just £15.
