This all-day walk takes in many interesting sites on Sark that was occupied by the Germans from 1940 until 1945. We will walk the route of two infamous British commando raids, visit the murder scene of a German Officer, look around the area where the German Headquarters were situated, visit the field where an RAF Lancaster crash-landed and other places connected with the Occupation including two tunnels. Local Sark guide Jan Guy will talk about the general history of Sark before lunch.
Meeting start point: Outside the Sark Shipping Ticket Office on the White Rock at 7:30am
