Occupied for nearly 250 years…What part did Fort George play in the D Day battles of 1944? Who is buried in the Military cemetery? Tunnels? Who lives here now? This remarkably beautiful site that cries out, ‘come explore me'.
Please note that there are some rough surfaces and a descent of a long flight of granite steps with no handrails.
