Saffery Rotary Walk

• Over £1,000,000 has been raised for charity throughout the 25 year duration of the Walk.
• 2023 was a record-breaking year for the Walk, raising over £100,000 for 25 local causes and Guernsey's Rotary and Inner Wheel service clubs.
• The youngest walker in both 2022 and 2023 was Harry Wallace, who first completed the Walk at only eight years old.
• In 2023, the oldest walker was Peter Walker, who completed the Walk at 83 years young.
• In 2023, inspirational walker, Haydn Davies, travelled all the way from South Africa to tackle the 39-mile challenge.
• There were a total of 1008 registrations in 2023, with 716 individual walkers, 48 relay teams and 80 family walkers.

To reward outstanding contributions and efforts in fundraising, there are a number of awards presented each year during a presentation evening at Government House. This includes acknowledgement of the most sponsorship raised by a team as well as an individual.
