VE Day Beacon Lighting at Castle Cornet
The 8 May 2025 will mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, a celebration of the end of WWII in Europe. The beacon lighting represents the ‘light of peace’ that emerged.
The beacon lighting will take place at Castle Cornet on 8 May at 9:30pm. The Castle will not be open to the public but the event will be livestreamed on the Guernsey Museums Facebook page.
