A collection of profiles of close to 150 men and women who, over the last century, can be considered ‘Guernsey Greats’.

They come from all walks of life: politicians, athletes, journalists, entertainers that whistle expertly or tell jokes, the odd notable publican or farmer, many top businessmen, charity workers, brave soldiers and the odd odd-ball. And why not the latter? The only qualification for inclusion has been to recognise people who are, or were, widely admired by the good Guernsey public, who are better judges than most.
