About Olympia McEwan
Alongside her various portrait campaigns and commissions over the last 20 years, Olympia began painting wildflowers and pollinators in 2018. Since then she has created two very distinct practices, describing both subjects as "a joyful reflection of [her] love for people and their stories, as well as the beauty of nature and its fragility."
Olympia has had her work shown in several exhibitions, including at the Greenhouse Gallery at Guernsey Museum at Candie, the Gatehouse Gallery at Elizabeth College, the National Trust of Guernsey's Art at the Park gallery, and the Royal Court House. Some of her portrait paintings are also currently on display at the Guille-Alles Library and the Princess Elizabeth Hospital. She also has several of her portrait paintings in the permanent collection of the Guernsey Museums & Galleries.
Olympia has published a book called 'In Living Memory'.
