Double Piano - Huanui Music Society
The performance will feature pieces composed by D. Shostakovich, J.S. Bach, A. Vivaldi, S. Rachmaninoff, and A. Tsfasman.
Elena Fedorenko is a Ukrainian pianist, teacher and composer based in Guernsey for the past four years. Before moving to the island, she lived in London, where she completed her Masters degree at the Royal Academy of Music, studying under Andrew West. Before London she graduated from the Odessa National Academy of Music.
Elena teaches at Blanchelande College, and also teaches privately. She has supported Sam's development for the last four years.
Sam Cole finishes Elizabeth College this year. He attends the Junior Department of Guildhall School of Music and Drama and been a member of National Youth Orchestra (Violin). Sam holds a conditional offer to study BA (Hons) in Music at St Anne's College Oxford, for which he has received a Guernsey Music Bursary for music studies off-island.
