Christmas Courtyard Market at the Folk and Costume Museum

Explore this Christmas Courtyard Market in the heart of Guernsey, set on a cobbled courtyard and surrounded by heritage buildings.

The popular and atmospheric National Trust of Guernsey Christmas Courtyard Market returns for 2025, taking place on Monday 8 December between 5pm and 8pm. The Museum Christmas Shop will also be open during the event. 

With stalls from artisan crafters and food producers, there will be a variety of high quality gifts and festive fare for visitors of all ages. (Keep an eye on their social pages for #CCM2025 where stallholders will be sharing their news.) Christmas magic will also be in the air with carols around the tree in the courtyard.

Entry

Entry is £2 for adults (on the gate). Entry is free for children and members.

Parking and transport

• Shuttle bus - new for this year, there will be a free shuttle bus service between Les Varendes High School and Saumarez Park, operating between 4.30pm (first shuttle from Les Varendes to Saumarez Park) and 8pm (last shuttle from Saumarez Park to Les Varendes).
• Bus - Sausmarez Park is on bus routes 41 and 42. Please check the bus timetable for times and details.
• Car - if driving to Saumarez Park, please car share where possible (as spaces are limited) and bring torches to light your way.
