BoatLife Fishing Championship
Guernsey hosts the fourth and final stage of a brand-new catch and release event, in which pro anglers compete in both championship and privateer events.
The event starts in Conwy, before moving to Cowes, then Plymouth, with the exciting finale in Guernsey.
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet the competitors and become absorbed in what is due to be an exciting end to a huge competition.
The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
Thursday 14th November
8am – 11am Teams arrive onsite
Midday Teams gather for a lineup photo shoot
1pm – 4pm A pre-selected number of teams visit local school(s) & locations to promote and discuss a number of topics around the benefits of recreational angling, conservation & sustainability initiatives and to show their boats, team members, electronics and equipment
1pm – 4pm Teams not involved in presenting will be practicing in local waters with media coverage
Friday 15th November
7am Teams meet at the Marina to set-up for the next round
9am Championship round commences
10am – 4pm Championship exhibition, stage sessions & talks, catering & hospitality
4pm Round closes
4pm-6pm Teams meet the locals at the marina for boat walkthroughs & 1 to 1’s with anglers and teams
6pm Teams, sponsors & visitors meet for awards, trophies and prize giving
8pm Buffet dinner/BBQ

Saturday 16th November
7am Teams meet at the Marina to set-up for the next round
8am Privateers meet at the Marina to prepare for the Privateers cup
9am Championship round commences
10am Privateers cup commences
10am-4pm Championship exhibition, stage sessions & talks, catering & hospitality
4pm Round & privateers cup closes
4pm-6pm Teams meet the locals at the marina for boat walkthroughs & 1 to 1’s with anglers and teams
6pm Teams, sponsors, Privateers and visitors meet for awards, trophies and prize giving
