Art for Guernsey announces forthcoming exhibition, The Lidded Lands, featuring artworks by James
Colmer and Vesna Parchet, complemented by poems by Magnus Buchanan.
Guernsey-based artist James Colmer, and Vesna Parchet, who lives and works in London, have taken inspiration from Guernsey’s ancient past to produce a stunning body of work that evokes and celebrates the island’s long and rich history. Their poignant artworks are further brought to life by a series of poems by Magnus Buchanan. Magnus is Head of English at Elizabeth College and he has written a number of books which are illustrated by his wife Charlie, a long-standing friend of Art for Guernsey.
