Shell Beach
Shell Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Channel Islands. Millions of tiny shell fragments, washed in from the Gulf Stream, give the sandy expanse the name.
During the summer months you can try out kayaking and paddleboarding, enjoy a tasty snack from the kiosk, or just simply sit and relax watching the world go by.
With clear water, Shell Beach is a great place for swimming on Herm. Stretching for 3 quarters of a mile, there is plenty of space for everyone in the sea. The water here can be cold and the tide can be strong.
