About Jayne's Coastal Adventures

All adventures are led by experienced local guide, Jayne, and depending on your interests, can include guided snorkelling in calm bays, coastal swimming or sea pool explorations.

Jayne is an experienced guide, qualified in water safety, with a Level 3 Aquatic Safety Qualification.

What you need to know

The swim experiences are specifically tailored to confident, open water swimmers. To fully enjoy your swim adventure, you should be comfortable swimming 800m of continuous front crawl in open water. This way, you'll feel safe, relaxed and ready to make the most of your experience.

The sea pool and snorkel experiences are a great way to build confidence in the water, before trying more advanced swim experiences.

Guernsey's summer sea temperatures typically range from 15°c to 20°c, peaking in late summer. For most people this range is considered fresh but pleasant for swimming. Some visitors may prefer to use their favourite wetsuit.

All coastal adventures are dependent on wind and tide, which means that the exact location of your adventure may vary. Rest assured, every experience is carefully chosen to offer the best conditions on the day.

There will be time to take photos along the way, so you will always have something to remember this incredible experience.

Rockpool Experience

This 2 and a half hour experience takes in a 40 minute scenic walk along a coastal path, and a short climb over pebbles and rocks to the plunge pool.

Snorkel Exploration

Step straight into a stunning natural lagoon, rich with abundant marine life just waiting to be discovered.

One Way Bus & Swim Experience

This experience takes in a 5 minute bus ride, followed by an open water swim over stunning reefs.

Havelet Bay Reef Swim & Gully Experience

Based in St Peter Port, this experience takes in an open water swim over a reef and through a gully, with views over Castle Cornet. Perfect for summer cruise passengers!

Guernsey Slipway Swim Experience

This experience is selected on the day, depending on wind and tide. There will be an opportunity to take in all of the nature and underwater views - and even do a Guernsey bombshell!

Marble Bay & Divette Cove Swim Experience

Enjoy a 30-minute scenic cliff path walk to Marble Bay and a high tide swim, including an adventure to Divette Cove.

Le Gouffre Toilers of the Sea Swim Experience

Savour a 30-minute cliff walk to Le Gouffre harbour, observing the toilers of the sea, before heading into the sea for an open water swim through a gully, exploring sea caves and a sea arch.
