Guernsey Parkrun

What is Guernsey parkrun? 

It is a community event designed to encourage more people to be active and healthy. It is a FREE 5km timed run, jog or walk which is open to all abilities, adults and children age 4 and over. You can even bring your dog (on a short lead please!)

When is it?

Every Saturday at 9:00am.

Where is it?

The event takes place at Pembroke Bay, Vale, Guernsey, GY3 5BY. See website for more details.

What does it cost to join in?

Nothing - it's free! but please register before your first run on the website.

Only ever register with parkrun once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode. If you forget it, you won't get a time, but you are still welcome to join in the run.

How fast do I have to be?

Please come along and join in whatever your pace! Each week there is a volunteer "tail runner" who will jog or walk with you and provide some motivation and encouragement if you need it! If you are not yet ready for the whole 5km distance, it doesn't matter, just do less; your fitness will soon improve.

Who are the organisers?

Guernsey parkrun is organised entirely by volunteers. If you would like to help out occasionally for an hour on a Saturday morning, please get in touch by email to find out more. The event director is Lorna O'Donnell.
