Batterie Scharnhorst Tours

Following a long-running project to fully uncover the Schwabenland and Brandenberg emplacements, which included the excavation of partially filled-in gun sites as well as nearby bunkers and trenches, Batterie Scharnhorst can now be fully explored with three tour operators.

Tours include access to ammunition stores and personnel shelter, as well as insight into how the Batterie was used during the German Occupation, and what happened to the guns which were housed there.

Tours are available exclusively through Tours of Guernsey, Olga Mitchell and Tuk Tuk Tours. Groups can also visit by prior arrangement with Festung Guernsey.
