Embark on a self-guided journey dedicated to all things cheese throughout April. This tour allows you to sample a variety of local and French cheeses while learning about the history and production methods that make them so special on the Island.
Wild Isle Forage
Discover the natural larder of Alderney with a Wild Isle Forage tour. These sessions take place on selected dates throughout April, with times varying according to the tide. Led by expert guides, you will learn how to identify and harvest edible plants found along Alderney's coastlines and hedgerows, gaining a deeper connection to the landscape of the Island.
After the walk, you can stay for a cooking demonstration where dishes will be prepared using the ingredients collected during the foraging session.

For a touch of luxury, head to the Old Government House Hotel for their themed Easter Afternoon Tea. Running from 28 March to 12 April between 14:00 and 17:30, this five star experience features a selection of delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and beautifully crafted Easter treats. It is a wonderful way to spend a relaxed afternoon in St Peter Port on the Island.
Spring Back to Life Plant and Cake Sale
Visit this charming local sale on 11 April from 10:00 to 13:00 to pick up some seasonal blooms for your garden or a delicious homemade treat. It is a great way to support local initiatives while enjoying the community spirit of our Islands.
Pirate Bay Adventure Golf
Pirate Bay is a unique pirate themed 12 hole mini golf course at Nineteen Bar and Grill. You can play a round and then head inside for some food; be sure to have a go at the driving range inside the restaurant while you’re waiting for your meal.
Pottery Painting at Iris and Dora
Iris and Dora is a leading craft and art venue in Guernsey, offering pottery throwing lessons, craft sessions and pottery painting. All ages and abilities are welcome in the studio. They have intricate pottery or plain mugs for adults and older children to enjoy; and for kids, they have special mini-figures, wooden items and quick-dry paint, so they don’t have to wait for their creations to go in the kiln.
Oaty and Joey’s Playbarn
Oaty & Joey’s Playbarn at Oatland's Village the perfect day out for families with children of all ages. Inside, you will find one of the largest play frames in Britain, with a number of slides, including a giant 6.3m astra slide, climbing ropes, ball pits, and more. The Playbarn also includes a Highway 66 Bowling Alley, party rooms, trampolines, e-cars, pool and air hockey tables, and against-the-clock basketball. If you’re feeling creative, you can make your own bear or paint some pottery.
Being indoors, Oaty & Joey’s Playbarn is a great retreat on rainy or cold days. They also provide refreshments and snacks in their cafe, so you can sit back and relax knowing the kids are safe and entertained.

EY Easter Running Festival 2026
For those looking to stay active, the EY Easter Running Festival offers a series of races across the holiday weekend from 3 April to 6 April. Whether you are a seasoned runner or looking for a fun family challenge, the atmosphere is always electric as participants take to the scenic roads of Guernsey at various start times.
Outdoor Guernsey
Outdoor Guernsey offers land and sea activities on Guernsey and Herm. You can hire stand-up paddle boards or kayaks or go coasteering. On land, they offer climbing, high ropes, bike hire, archery, clay pigeon shooting and more. Group sizes will depend on your chosen activity.

Visit the National Trust of Guernsey’s gallery at Saumarez Park to view this seasonal exhibition, open daily from 31 March to 1 May between 10:00 and 17:00. The artwork celebrates the unique natural beauty of our Islands, focusing on the vibrant colours of the spring landscape.

Easter Weekend in Sark
Take a short ferry ride to Sark for a truly peaceful getaway from 3 April to 5 April. With no cars and a relaxed pace of life, it is the perfect place to unwind. During the holidays, you can enjoy the Sark Easter Events, which often include traditional egg hunts and community gatherings across the Island.

For some lighthearted competition, head to Sark Island Hall for a round of Easter Egg Bingo on 4 April from 19:30 to 21:30.
Ostara Egg Magic Ceremony
