7 Great Places To Have A Mocktail On The Islands Of Guernsey

Mocktails are delicious, alcohol-free alternatives to your favourite drinks. From fan-favourites, such as martinis and daiquiris made without alcohol, to in-house specialities and unique creations, the restaurants and bars in Guernsey have a huge variety of mocktails to be tried.

Whatever your reason, whether you’re the designated driver, working on your wellbeing or just fancy something different, mocktails are a great option. Here are just seven great establishments offering mocktails.

The Hook and Sling

Located in St Peter Port, with beautiful views of the marina from its third floor bar, Hook provides a fantastic selection of mocktails to enjoy, with a mocktail menu as long as their cocktail menu! You can also try out their selection of kombucha-blended mocktails made using KTea, a locally brewed kombucha.

If you want to enjoy your drinks with a view of the sunset, then La Reunion is the place for you. Looking out over Cobo bay, you can sit on the roof terrace and watch the sun go down with a drink in hand. Stylish and right on the beach, La Reunion is a fantastic place to visit after exploring Guernsey’s west coast.

Nestled in the lanes of St Martins, La Barbarie has access to some of the most idyllic bays and stunning cliff-path walks in the South of Guernsey. Savour your mocktail in La Barbarie’s welcoming farmhouse-style hotel or beautiful gardens.

You can relax with an alcohol-free G&T in the cosy bar area of Balthazar, located along St Peter Port’s harbour. It's a great place to visit, with live Jazz music every Wednesday evening for you to enjoy alongside your mocktail. They also have the Tik-Tok-famous disco-toilets.

The OGH is a peaceful and tranquil spot at the top of St Peter Port and their elegant and light conservatory is the perfect setting for evening drinks. You can enjoy some delicious Seedlip non-alcoholic drinks with views of their private olive garden, Saint Peter Port Harbour and the neighbouring islands in the distance.

Known for its famous steaks and grill, Red is located in the heart of St Peter Port, with skilled bartenders who are happy to make you a mocktail to your own tastes. So get creative and pick your favourite flavours, or leave it up to the mixologist to surprise you.

Koi Koi

Koi Koi is an Asian Fusion restaurant and bar tucked away off the main street of St Peter Port, famous for its indoor cherry blossom tree and cocktails. You’ll find a great atmosphere to go alongside their drinks menu and their bartenders are more than happy to make you something off of the menu, so if you can’t find your favourite drink, just ask.
