7 Great Places To Have A Mocktail On The Islands Of Guernsey

2021 has proven to be the year of the mocktail so far, with many of us swapping our favourite tipples for alcohol free alternatives.

Whatever your reason, if you are the designated driver, working on your wellbeing or just fancy a little something different, mocktails are a great option for keeping the mood festive.

Located in St Peter Port with beautiful views of the marina from its third floor bar, Hook provides a fantastic selection of mocktails to enjoy (it's as long as their cocktail menu!). You can also try out their selection of kombucha-blended mocktails made using KTea, a locally brewed kombucha.

If you like your drinks with a view of the sunset, then La Reunion is the place for you. Looking over the stunning Cobo bay, you can sit on the roof terrace and watch the sun go down with a Virgin Pina Colada or Mojito in hand. Stylish and right on the beach, La Reunion is a fantastic place to visit after exploring Guernsey’s west coast.

Fancy a Strawberry Mojito? Nestled in the lanes of St Martin, La Barbarie has access to some of Guernsey’s most idyllic bays and stunning cliff-path walks. Savour your mocktail after exploring the coves in La Barbarie’s welcoming farmhouse-style hotel or beautiful gardens.

You can relax with an alcohol-free G&T in the cosy bar area of Balthazar after a cliff walk into town. It's a great place to visit with live Jazz music every Wednesday evening for you to enjoy alongside your mocktail. They also have their now Tik-Tok-famous disco-toilets!

The elegant and light conservatory at the OGH is a perfect setting for evening drinks, you can enjoy some delicious Seedlip non-alcoholic drinks with views of their olive garden and Herm in the distance. A peaceful and tranquil spot at the top of St Peter Port.

6. RED

Known for its famous steaks and grill, RED is located in the heart of St Peter Port, with skilled bartenders who are happy to make you a mocktail to your own specifications - so get creative and pick your chosen flavours or leave it up to the mixologist - you won’t be disappointed with their delicious creations.

Harbour views, live music and a cosy atmosphere await in Mora, where their bartenders can create an amazing selection of drinks for you to sample. A popular venue for celebrations and an after-work cocktail, Mora is a great place to visit for a taste of local life!

Autumn is a great time to visit the Islands and enjoy all of our bars and restaurants, so why not book a trip now? We’ll see you soon!
