La Bailloterie Camping

The longest established site in the island with the newest facilities, having recently gone through a refurbishment and upgrade. The new facility block contains separate showers and toilets, a shop and cafe/lounge with wi-fi and TV, together with a balcony and outdoor area overlooking the playground. Laundry facilities,washing up facilities and a place to iron are handily placed. There is also a dedicated disabled toilet and baby change facilities.

The site caters for private camping where you are able to choose your own pitch, and a number of ready erected Glamping tents, Camping Pods and Camping Cabins are available for hire, containing all you need for a comfortable holiday. Motor homes and trailer tents are also welcome.

A 16 amp electricity circuit runs throughout the site. All the main services, such as a supermarket, buses and places to eat and drink, are all within a short working distance. Cycles can be hired from the site.

Lovely beaches are very close to the site and can be accessed through quiet lanes. We have a dedicated boules pitch where you can play a friendly or take part in a competition.

There is an organised BBQ once a week which gives you the opportunity to meet your fellow campers.

The rural setting of the campsite offers many pretty walks, easy access to L'Ancresse Common, the golf course and historical sites. Local information about the island and its attractions is readily available through the staff who are resident on site and will make sure your holiday is smooth and memorable.

To reach the site,leave St Peter Port following signs for St Sampson and the North. Continue staight on, through the roundabout at the Red Lion Hotel and bear left at the filter towards Pembroke Bay and L'Ancresse. At the third set of traffic lights (Crossways) turn right. Take the first turning on the left signposted to La Bailloterie. The camp site is at the top of the lane, turn right and follow the track to the car park at the top on the right.
