Charente Open Garden for Rendez-vous aux Jardins
We have a diverse collection of subtropical and tropical plants, including a number of rare and unusual varieties, so there’s always something to catch the eye. Over the past year, the garden has undergone significant reshaping, making it even more exciting to explore in the coming season. We’re also always happy to chat with visitors about the plants we grow and how we care for them.
This year, we’ve placed a special focus on rare and distinctive species, and both the garden and the hot house are full of surprises. In keeping with the theme of “sight,” our displays have been designed to be both striking and subtly beautiful, offering something new at every turn. June is an ideal time to visit, as the garden reaches its second flowering peak of the year.
There is no entry fee, although donations in support of the GSPCA will be warmly welcomed. Snacks and refreshments will also be available.
A few practical notes:
Accessibility is mostly fine, though wheelchairs may be difficult.
Parking is limited, but nearby facilities can be used.
To make sure everyone can enjoy the space comfortably, we’ll limit groups to 35 people at a time.
