Founded by a Guernsey resident in 1964, Condor Ferries have been operating ever since. From the days of the passenger-only Hydrofoils and catamarans, to the current fleet of high-speed and traditional ferries, Condor provide the lifeline year round ferry service from the UK and France to Guernsey.
Condor Ferries operate three passenger ferries - 102-metre trimaran Condor Liberation, 86-metre wavepiercer Condor Rapide and the traditional ferry Commodore Clipper. Condor Liberation operates services to Guernsey from Poole in Dorset and the high-speed services take around 3 hours. The crossing from Portsmouth on-board the Clipper takes around 7 hours, whilst Condor Rapide operates from St Malo with journey times of around 2 hours.
Condor also operates an inter-island service between Jersey and Guernsey - journey time on board Condor Liberation and Condor Rapide is 1 hour, and 2 hours on board the Clipper.
