SUMMER ART CLUBS 2021
Seaside Beachcoming Course (26-30 July & 9th - 13th August)
A week long course running 9-3pm looking at different aspects of creativity working with a professional artist in a safe, relaxed, enclosed environment. Because it runs over 5 days we can work on complicated projects and projects that need time to dry. The children make new friends and work together and at the end of the week they present an exhibition of their work to their family and friends, something that they are always proud to do.
This summer we will be looking at drawing, painting and printing, as well as sculpture and mythology. Lots of messy activities including making a sketchbook and art bag to keep your precious creations in. These week long workshops will be very messy so please wear old clothes and be prepared to get your hands dirty! Mon-Fri, 9-3pm £300 for all week.
Monday 26th-Friday 30th July 2021: SEA MYTHS
From Greek mythology to Loch Ness, Mermaids, Sea Dragons and giant squid, we will spend a week immersed in this diverse world making sculpture, printing, drawing, painting and collage. We will be creating projects that will take a couple of days work to complete, such as illustrating a book and making magical sand bowls. Be prepared to get your hands dirty. Exhibition of the weeks work will be on display on the Friday afternoon.
Monday 9th-Friday 13th August 2021: PIRATES
Looking at the nice ones as well as the not so. Using all sorts of materials we will construct a pirate boat, treasure map and ships log book amongst other projects. We will also be making sand sculpture as well as perfecting our drawing, painting and printing skills. Feel free to come dressed for the occasion.
