Join the Seigneur of Sausmarez Manor, Peter de Sausmarez, as he guides a tour around his historic home.
The tour will feature the houses Occupation and post Occupation story, when it was home to Sir Havilland de Sausmarez and his wife Annie. When Sir Havilland refused to install electricity, the German occupying forces decided not to take over the Manor. He died in 1941, and his wife lived there alone for the remainder of the Occupation. Tour also includes excerpts from family diaries and the Manor’s links to best-selling book The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society..
