This walk takes in the area between Fort Le Marchant and Fort Pembroke and focuses on the structures and fortifications of this area that were constructed during the WWII German Occupation. The structures include bunkers, machine gun positions, mortar positions, a large anti-aircraft battery, a stone crusher and the route of a German railway. There are many period photographs to help bring the past to life. If time permits, a visit to an anti-aircraft German command bunker is possible.
On the day, you will need to Meet Tim in the car park between the kiosk and Beach House Café for a 10.00am start.
This walk is £8 per person and spaces can be reserved by emailing Tim.
