A display and documentary at the Guernsey Museum in Candie Gardens, St Peter Port about the commemorative statue created to mark the 75th anniversary of Liberation. They have been produced by local Guernsey College of Further Education students Sidney Le Gallais and Brandon Carberry. They show the development of the sculpture, the casting and modelling processes, and the original model, alongside a stop motion animation. The sculpture has been designed by local artist Mark Cook and will be unveiled on 9th May 2020 in St Peter Port.
Open daily 10am – 5pm between 9th May and 22nd June 2020.
Admission: £6.50 per adult, £2 for children and under 7s free.
