The start date for this event has unfortunately been postponed until May.
The German Occupation of the Channel Islands during WW2 continues to inspire generations of artists, poets and writers. In Living Memory is a commemoration and celebration for the 75th anniversary, with contributors to the project including artists, authors, poets, historians and survivors, culminating in a publication coordinated by artist Olympia McEwan (published by Blue Ormer, sponsored by Specsavers and being launched at the Guernsey Literary Festival 2020).
The exhibition of the same name, In Living Memory, will be held at the Greenhouse Gallery at the Guernsey Museum (Candie Gardens in St Peter Port) which will include these original works of art by Chris Foss, Molly Harris, Jeni Snell, Rosanne Guille, Mark Cook, Paul Chambers, Frances Lemmon, Sian Jones, Pip Looijenga and Olympia McEwan. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the original works of art, in this beautiful gallery setting.
