Silver Accredited tour guide Nicky Terry will meet you on the west coast at Rocquaine, with the backdrop of numerous German bunkers, from where you will head inland through the quiet lanes of St Pierre du Bois with anecdotes and accounts of life in the parish during the Occupation.

The walk will take you to Nicky’s brother’s farm, Wallow Charcuterie, where you will have the opportunity to meet a herd of local pedigree pigs and hear accounts of life on the farm during the war. After meeting the pigs, head back down to the coast through a network of green lanes and Ruettes Tranquilles, to enjoy an artisan Wallow Charcuterie tasting board at the end. Sturdy, closed in footwear is essential as much of the tour will be off road.

Start and finish at the Route du Port bus stop on Rocquaine Bay (the grassy triangle with the post box on, near Le Tricoteur) for a walk up to Wallow Charcuterie.

Cost: £20 per person.
Sunday tour starts at 10.00am and finishes at 12.15pm.
Wednesday tours start at 6.00pm and finish at 8.15pm
