Cobo & le Guet’s German Defences

Cobo Bay is one of Guernsey’s treasures with beautiful white sands and crystal clear waters along the west coast of the Island. Just behind Cobo Bay is ‘Le Guet’ – a Napoleonic watch house giving unrivalled views for several miles out to sea. The name ‘Guet’ is derived from the French verb ‘guetter’ which means ‘to watch’.

This guided walk will look at the bunkers, Tobruk Pits and other German defences in the Cobo and Le Guet area. Be aware of some paths and slopes!
