The WW2 German Occupation of Sark

Join Silver-accredited tour guide, Tim Osborne, in a walk that takes in many interesting sites on Sark, which was occupied by the Germans from 1940 until 1945. We’ll walk the route of two infamous British commando raids, visit the murder scene of a German Officer, look around the area where the German HQ was situated, visit the field where an RAF Lancaster crash-landed, visit two tunnels and other places connected with the Occupation. Local Sark Guide Jan Guy will talk about the general history of Sark over lunch. The boat fare, lunch and refreshments are extra.
