The Sark Stones Run

Now in its sixth year, enjoy a winter’s run with a difference on Sark.

About the race

The principle is simple: all you have to do is start and finish at Le Grand Dixcart (with warm showers, food and a bar!) and in between pick up four pages from four books placed at four iconic stones on Sark.

Choose your own route, and collect the pages in any order.

Enter on your own or in teams of two or four people. For individual entrants, the first person back wins. For the team competition, the winners will be the first team back with all their pages (so best to split up!).

Depending on your route, distances will vary, but the race should be about 9.5-10 miles for individual entries.

The event will take place regardless of the weather, so be prepared (unless we have a named storm!)

There will be one official water stop, at the start/finish, so you are welcome to swing past during the race - but it will add to your distance!

Entry

Entry to the race is free but please get in touch with the organisers if you want to race, so they can plan accordingly.

Post-race

A cheap and simple hot buffet lunch will be available after the race, as well as showers and changing facilities.

Runners and non-runners can enjoy the buffet (a vegetarian option is available), so please notify organisers of any friends and family who also plan on attending.
