This walk focuses primarily on the interesting military history & fortifications of this area from the late 18th Century through to the German Occupation during WWII. The German railway which ran through the area is also discussed. Photographs help visualise the past. Time permitting, we hope to look inside a WWII German anti-aircraft command bunker
