A walk to and around Guernsey`s last working quarry at Les Vardes and back via some lovely lanes with stories of the militia, film stars, old ponds, The Wind in the Willows, a mine field tragedy from the occupation & more. The quarry will soon to be quarried out and replaced by a new one at Chouet.
