Just like the patois for pudding ‘Houichepotte’, the area of Bordeaux on the northern edge of the Vale is a delightful mix of a little bit of everything from Guernsey’s past. The pre-historic Le Gardien du Tombeau at Les Déhus to quarries and a hero of the German Occupation to modern day resourcefulness.
