Introducing... James Strawbridge

James Strawbridge is a TV presenter and sustainable living expert and has had a passion for nature, food and environmentalism since childhood. Along with his father, Dick, they present the popular ITV series, The Hungry Sailors, part of which was based in Guernsey and Sark, where they set sail around Britain aboard the Amelie Rose to explore the food of Britain's coastal towns. In addition James is a regular contributor to 'The Alan Titchmarsh Show' and has also appeared as an eco-guest on numerous other TV shows such as 'Richard and Judy,' and 'Ready Steady Cook', promoting his sustainable living message.

James said he fell in love with Guernsey whilst visiting with his family, when he tucked into delicious local oysters and crab, and he is looking forward to returning to the island.
'The perspective from the sea is unique and from the rugged cliff tops to the sweeping sandy bays I was struck by the beauty and variety of the island.'
The 'Tasty Walks' campaign features a first for VisitGuernsey; audio guides featuring 11 walks focused on combining the natural beauty of the island with tips for great eateries. James has provided the voiceover for the series which can be downloaded below alongside the walking map.
