On a clear day, flying to Guernsey can offer spectacular views across the Bailiwick. From the sandy shores of Herm's Shell Beach to La Coupee which joins Sark to Little Sark, you can get a flavour of what the islands have in store on the ground, from the air. Guernsey flights from London Gatwick take as little as 45 minutes, with those from regional airports taking upwards of 30 minutes. Regular flights operate from major UK airports all year round, as well as some additional seasonal services further afield.

Which? magazine's annual readers survey have recently ranked Aurigny as the world's best short haul airline. (December 2013)

The current airport opened in 2004 and is modern and user-friendly. It has both a taxi rank and a bus stop which runs a service from the terminal to destinations around the island. Flying is still the quickest way to get to the Channel Islands, giving you more time to enjoy your time in the Bailiwick
